Privacy and personal data

The data controller is Emel İlhan, operating in her own name as Neva Ceramics in Gelibolu, Çanakkale, Türkiye. Contact: neva@nevaceramics.com. This notice covers website visits and inquiries about classes, workshops, and collaborations.

Information and how it is used

Your name, email, inquiry topic, optional city/organization, and message are used to review and respond to your request and discuss the program you are interested in. The form first creates a draft in your browser. It does not submit these fields to a website server or database. Sending the draft in your email app transmits it through email services. Copying places the text on your device clipboard.

Reasons for processing

Processing necessary and directly related to entering or performing a class or workshop agreement is assessed under KVKK Article 5/2(c). Necessary responses to general inquiries and website security, without prejudice to fundamental rights, are assessed under Article 5/2(f). Where a specific legal obligation or protection of a right requires it, relevant records may be processed under Articles 5/2(ç) and 5/2(e). Contacting us does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.

Service providers and transfers

Email uses Apple iCloud Mail Custom Email Domain. Hosting, content delivery, and security use Cloudflare Pages. These providers may process the email or technical connection information necessary for their services. Technical records may include IP address, requested page, connection time, and browser information. Disclosure to authorities occurs only when legally required. Apple and Cloudflare operate internationally, so processing may occur outside Türkiye. Their policies and this notice do not establish that the applicable transfer conditions under KVKK Article 9 have been met. Read the Apple Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Retention and data minimization

The applicable principle is to retain correspondence only as necessary to follow up on an inquiry and delete it when no longer needed. Correspondence resulting in a service may be retained as necessary to meet applicable obligations or protect rights. There is no blanket indefinite retention or single automatic deletion period for all messages. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive information, identification documents, or children’s identifying details.

Cookies and external links

The website code does not use advertising/analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or local storage. Photos are served directly by the site; social media is not embedded. Necessary hosting security processing is subject to the provider’s terms. Opening an Instagram link takes you to that platform and its privacy terms.

Your rights and contact

Under KVKK Article 11, you may ask whether data is processed, request information about its use and recipients, seek corrections or deletion/destruction where applicable, and request notification of those actions to recipients. You may object to an adverse result from solely automated analysis and seek compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. Contact neva@nevaceramics.com about your request; identity verification or a legally prescribed application method may be needed. Requests are addressed within 30 days. You can also use this address to request removal of a photo of you.
